Lovely hotel for a weekend away for a concert with partner. Room was clean and, although a bit outdated, was perfect for a few nights stay. There was a mini fridge which was a great addition to use for drinks and snacks. The view across the quay was beautiful. Overall a great stay at the copthorne.

There was an issue with this booking, and the same was made by mistake on the evening of the 12th of August and was made for the 12th of August instead of the 13th. The hotel was not full, and when I contacted 訂房網站 and the hotel reception, I was made to make a new booking and no refund was offered for the room. The people and businesses in the United Kingdom have been known to be very empathetic and humane, unlike the US and do understand other human beings. This was not the case here, and I was shown the refund policy by the hotel and the website that is 訂房網站.com. Even from 訂房網站 I did expect more as I booked for the 13th too from their website. Thus, not a great experience. Very disappointed with 訂房網站 not even refund the taxes. The gym at the hotel is very small. Near the water is good.

This is rated 4 stars hotel but if you see the room, it will be otherwise. For me, I will give 2 star max for that room. Consider clean but very old for me. But I didn’t go enjoy other facilities, so cannot comment further.

Very convenient location for the Lowry, a pleasant 15 mins walk away. The quayside is nice to walk along and there are handy shops in the locality for snacks and coffee etc. We found the hotel clean and functional. The info provided explained the hotel has recently had new carpets and beds in all rooms, and the next phase is replacing room furniture. The bed was indeed super comfy. The furniture is tired and in need of a refresh, as is the decor and curtains, and odd cracked bathroom tile. But it is obviously an older hotel , so you expect these things! It's good to see they are putting ongoing investments into an upgrade. Can't fault the cleanliness though, and polite staff. I'd stay again.

The hotel needs a bit of renovation but we enjoyed our stay and our room was nice. We didn’t try the breakfast. The nicest part, in my point of view, was the view. Also, the location is a plus.
